I’m Katie Pearson, a writer, cat enthusiast, and Tina Fey look-alike living in Kansas.
I started writing about my many trust issues in the hope of finding other people wrestling with the same issues. Let’s be each other’s free therapy, shall we?
Career
After 11 years of teaching, I quit to live a life that doesn’t include a bell schedule. My whole life revolves around trusting that my needs will still be met even if I spend all my time on fun projects–like this blog!
Core Beliefs
As a progressive Episcopalian, my beliefs about God and humanity are constantly evolving. I believe God is love; I believe you and I bear the image of God; I believe you and I are deserving of love and goodness.
Interests
I can’t get enough comedy, cats, and cake. I’m told that I can’t spend all of my time on those three things, so I will occasionally also read historical mysteries, travel, play piano, and dream of the day when it will be safe to gather with everyone I love.
